Liverpool dominate PFA Team of the year with five

The PFA Team of the Year has been announced and unsurprisingly it has been dominated by Liverpool who have five inclusions in the squad.

Captain Jordan Henderson makes the team for the first time, along with team-mates Sadio Mane, Andrew Robertson, Virgil Van Dijk and PFA Young Player of the Year Trent Alexander Arnold.

Manchester City have two inclusions in the team with PFA Player of the Year Kevin De Bruyne and David Silva who has left the club after ten years with the club.

Also making the team is Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope, Leicester pair Caglar Soyuncu and Golden Boot winner Jamie Vardy, and Arsenal’s prolific striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
